Kate and Duncan’s Wedding Canapés

We had the pleasure of being the caterers at a very special wedding recently. Weldmar Hospicecare patient Duncan Clarke and his bride Kate Baldwin decide to tie the knot at a ceremony which took place in the Orangery Restaurant at the hospice in Dorchester.

Along with our catering services, licences, the order of service, flowers, and photographs were all arranged within twenty four hours. We sprang into action were able to create a wonderful range of celebration wedding canapés and buffet food for the newly weds and their guests. These included smoked salmon and cream cheese vol-au-vents, fig and cheese canapés and chocolate brownies with raspberries.

Bride Kate was full of praise for the hospice staff and also the food that the Zest catering team provided. “They’ve actually pulled out the impossible. When we came to the hospice we never thought it would be possible to get married. It’s just like a fairytale wedding, it’s just been beautiful. There was no hassle for us – for example the chef asked us the day before what food we wanted, and to see the buffet today, everything is beautiful. It’s made our wedding.”
